Award Alarm: We won again!

This is another award for our Slàinte Liquorice mustard. First of all we were proud that the mustard already made it to the finals of the Great British Food Awards 2023 and now it has won bronze in the condiments and spreads category.

The Jury's statement: "If you weren’t a fan of liquorice sweets, like Allsorts, Black Jacks and Pontefract cakes, don’t let that put you off trying the complex, aniseed flavour in your savoury meals. This mustard offers a clever way to experiment with the flavour. Mild in terms of heat, it has a wonderfully aromatic, slightly oriental flavour hit that goes so well with full-flavoured game, oily fish and fattier cuts of meat. It’s very versatile – enjoy it in marinates, dressings, stirred into stews, added to stir-fries or simply spread into a buttery sandwich with sliced cold meat."

After having won Gold at The International Flavor Awards in the middle of the year, and now getting an award at a National Competition is just fantastic.
