What is the liquorice salt made for? A question that I often have to answer, because people find the idea of a liquorice sea salt weird but intriguing as well.
Liquorice sea salt greatly enriches both sweet and savory dishes, adds an extra dimension. It acts a bit like a flavour enhancer and gives more depths.

Here are a few examples of how this salt blend is used in the mustard maker's kitchen.
Porridge - Popcorn - Vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce - salty caramel for brownies - meat marinades - smoked fish - salad dressings - roasted vegetables, especially with 'earthy' vegetables like carrots, fennel, and beet root, venison, on scambbled egg....
It is an excellent and limitless seasoning for 1,000 and one possibilities, combining sweetness, spice, and saltiness.
The Rock Rose Gin Distillers use it in their Citrus Coastal Gin Edition not without reason!
