Cream cheese balls not just for Halloween

  • 200 gr cream cheese
  • 50 gr hard cheese like Parmesan, Manchego or matured Cheddar
  • 1 tsp mustard of your choice
(Our preference is Garlic Galore and 8-Pepper-Cèilidh)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

When the cream cheese is very creamy, put it in a sieve and let it drain. Finely grate your choice of cheese and mix with the drained cream cheese and your choice of mustard, season with salt and pepper, chill in the fridge for about 60 minutes.

Form balls from the cheese mixture, roll in flaxseed, white or black sesame seeds. insert two taco chips as wings. For the eyes, slice olives and insert pupils of red pepper pieces. Here, too, there are no limits to your imagination. The eyes get a little more shape with the inner rings of leek.

Of course, these cheese balls are also great outside of Halloween. Roll them in paprika powder (and season the cheese with Infernal Bliss mustard) or in curry powder (try Taste of India mustard in the cheese mix).

Bon appetite … with Mustheb it tastes better
